The Steele Productions Engine Pack Version 1.110a, April 28, 2024

This engine amends and adds a large number of realistical medium duty and heavy duty engines to the stock and various modded trucks to the game. Some engines have a bit more low-down torque than the manufacturers' data suggests, which is in the interests of keeping the game playable.

Many of the stock SCS engines have been reprogrammed with authentic torque curves.

For the most part, I'm using stock SCS sounds and icons with these engines.

As of September 6, 2023, the Steele Productions Engine Pack includes all engines that were previously a part of the Steele Productions Caterpillar C15, Cummins ISX15, Cummins QSK19, Cummins X15 Efficiency, Mack, and MX13 engine packs. If you also have these engine packs installed, you don't need them any more. :)

You can try asking Steam to check the validity of your installation files, sometimes game files get corrupted and it can all sorts of weird things.
There may also be another mod causing a conflict.

Thanks for quick response! I'm on 1.49.
I'm fairly convinced there's something wrong so I'm not getting the proper sounds here, really super quiet and no grunt to the engine noise/note.

ToreDL87 no quieter than the stock SCS engines - you're not using the brand new 1.50 beta, are you? That might have some sound issues.

I tried all of your mods in turn but they all sound the same (on Scot and Mack R, open windows), no grunt at all, super quiet?

Stylus34, this is the truck I added at the end of March - I believe the truck name is the dina.800.f. Is this working in the mod, please?

I'm tentatively reaching out for sounds. I have and am working with Zeemods on some of the engine definitions, but these are all premium mods. Understandably, but everyone wants to share their work (and that's okay).
I may have to do this the hard way: learn how to FMOD...

That's exactly what I mean...driving a realistic feeling engine! The sound is the one thing, the realism is the more important part for me. Maybe you can get a permit from Kriechbaum or some other one? You have all the time you need! Take care!
